Laptop Security Cables & Locks
      The chance of a laptop being stolen are 1 in 10, and a laptop is stolen every 53 seconds. According to the FBI, 97 percent are never recovered. A few simple guidelines can significantly decrease laptop vulnerability.
      Common-sense practice include using visual deterrents, keeping laptops out of sight when traveling and securing the laptop when it's not in use. Using complex passwords, changing them regularly and backing up data on a scheduled basis are also important.
