MailDefender Compact
The MailDefender system provides an on-site
solution for the prevention of biological contamination from
the mail, disinfecting and decontaminating mail at the point
of entry and making the working and living environment safer
and healthier. The MailDefender system combines proven
disinfection technologies, including electromagnetic
irradiation (ultraviolet, microwave, high-intensity broadband
beam, infra red, and other light sources), oxidization, and
other proven, commercialized technologies to destroy
biological contaminants and neutralize chemical toxins,
including anthrax and other agents.

Operation:
Based on our first-of-its kind innovative
disinfection platform, the MailDefender system effectively
destroys biological contaminants and neutralizes chemical
toxins, including anthrax and other agents.
The MailDefender system has been tested by a U.S.
Army-funded laboratory at the Stevens Institute of Technology
and other third party laboratories for its ability to
decontaminate anthrax spores (Bacillus subtili) at a level
exceeding U.S. Army regulation requirements. The MailDefender
system decontaminates up to 3 lbs. of mail per cycle within 55
minutes, and can easily be operated by anyone on your staff
after a brief training session at the time of installation. It
can be installed and operated right in your own facility
without fear of illness or other hazards from using the
system.
