DORO posts and railings are constructed with 16 gauge welded steel tubing in accordance with industry standards and finished with hard bright chrome for years of service. Posts are 2 1/4" O.D. and railings are 1 3/4" O.D. tubing. Post heights and the location of fittings vary according to the type of post and where applicable, an industry standard that you may wish to match. (see sketch showing two standard configurations "A" or "B" standards). Posts come complete with caps, base, base cover and horizontal fittings as shown (3/8"x 3" wedge anchor sold separately). Higher posts and triple line railings available - specify dimensions required. Standard spacing between posts is 4' (maximum recommended is 6'). See mounting configuration below.

 

 

 

Horizontal rails are 1 3/4" dia. - 16 ga. and are supplied in lengths that accommodate posts that are spaced apart in full foot increments (i.e. 4' centerline spacing for posts require a 3' - 9 1/2" horizontal rail).

Popular basic rail posts in a variety of configurations. Standard overall heights of 35 5/8" and 38 1/2". Triple line made to order.

 


Ideal for control of shopping cart removal. Available as fixed barriers for permanent installation, pull-out removable and locking removable (see next page).

 


Allow wheelchair and baby buggy passage, but not shopping carts. Installed in pairs. Available as fixed and locking removable. Single or double as shown. Height to bottom of "P" is 32 1/4".

 


Designed to support shelving, point-of-sale displays, etc. Height to top of plate is 42 1/8" plate 2 1/2" x 6".

 


Used in conjunction with turnstiles, specify adapters required.

 


Used to control shopping carts outside of stores. 2" or 2 1/2" stainless steel posts with 40" height. Available for cement-in applications, flange and cover mounting or removable/socket installations (below).

 


Designed for computer rooms and similar raised floor applications. Available as single line or double line. Telescopic lower section secured to floor below.

 

 


 

Horizontal rail fittings secure to both standard 2 1/4" diameter rail posts #TR3HF or to flat surfaces #TR3WF. All DORO horizontal fittings feature "set screw" securement of horizontal rails for improved ease of installation. Included are self drilling and tapping metal screws.

 


 

A variety of exciting custom colours will create that special look for your railing system. Through the use of hard wearing powder coat paints, special finishes including flat velvet, high gloss, hammertone, fleck and multicolour can easily be achieved at economical prices.

 

 


When the removal of posts is required, this extra heavy duty system using a standard 2 1/4" post, heavy 2" inner sleeve and "cement in" floor socket will meet the most rigorous application. Unscrewing the top cap on the post releases the post and tightening the top cap locks the post firmly in place. Applications include interior and exterior barrier posts and single and double "P" posts.

To control one way travel of shopping carts through a railing system, a series of swing flaps mounted to a high rail will provide an economical solution. Mounting bracket is chromed steel, the swing flap is high impact resistant plastic. Unit measure 4" wide by 18 1/2" high. Sold each.

For concrete floors, all rail posts are secured with 3 of 3/8" x 3" concrete wedge anchors. This rugged anchoring method is economical and has been proven to provide many years of trouble-free service. Chrome flange cover included provides an attractive finished appearance.

Double rail systems and buggy bumpers provide safe storage for shopping carts. Buggy bumper rails fabricated with chrome 2" x 2" 16 gauge square tubing, black plastic end plugs and your choice of two styles of buggy bracket. Floor mounting 3/8" x 3" wedge anchors sold separately.
